Anesthesiology Expert
Witness Services
Josh Weber, MD, ABA
Background/experience
Harvard-trained anesthesiologist with over 19 years of hands-on clinical experience across hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings. His practice has included care of medically complex patients in fast-paced, high-acuity environments where adherence to anesthesiology standards of care and patient safety protocols is critical.
Dr. Weber’s clinical expertise spans the full scope of modern anesthesiology, including general anesthesia, advanced airway management, difficult and failed intubation, obstetric anesthesia, neuraxial (epidural and spinal) techniques, regional anesthesia, procedural and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) sedation, invasive line placement, and perioperative monitoring.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Weber has served in multiple physician leadership and academic roles, including Obstetric Anesthesia Liaison, executive committee member of a private anesthesia group, and clinical instructor in obstetric anesthesia for an academic anesthesiology training program. These roles have involved quality improvement, interdisciplinary communication, and peer education—experience that informs his expert witness work.
